About Sophia Steere

Attorney Sophia Steere, a distinguished graduate magna cum laude from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in May 2023, swiftly gained admission to the Kentucky Bar in September of the same year, establishing her commitment to the field of Employment Law.

Sophia's time in law school was characterized by her relentless dedication, innovative thinking, and compassion, as she took on roles such as the 3L representative for the Student Bar Association, Social Chair for the Latinx Law Student Association, and Program Coordinator for the Jefferson County Teen Court Student Program. These positions allowed her to champion the voices of her peers and innovate in ways that brought positive change to her community. Sophia’s dedication to service also extended beyond the campus as she contributed her skills as a Legal Intern at La Casita Center, the Trager-Brandeis Elder Law Clinic, and the Jefferson County Office of the Circuit Court Clerk.

Now, as part of the Atlas team, Sophia brings these same values of dedication, innovation, compassion, and excellence to her practice. She has successfully directed her passion for service toward advocating for the rights of both former and current employees. Her ability to relate deeply to these individuals stems from her own journey, having entered the workforce at age 15 and working multiple jobs to fund her education. Sophia excels in connecting with a diverse clientele, understanding their unique challenges, and providing unparalleled legal support.

Her commitment to service, innovative problem-solving, compassionate advocacy, and the pursuit of excellence make her a perfect fit for Atlas. Sophia Steere embodies the firm’s core values and continues to make a significant impact, championing justice and fairness in the workplace.
